About Soul Strokes Studio

Hello, friends! My name is Lisa Lawrence, and I paint contemporary abstracts with a rustic flair. I believe there is something truly unique and beautiful about painting pieces that reflect the passage of time. The heavy texture and muted color palette in my work gives each piece its weathered, warm look. I like to think of this process as giving the art its soul. 

On a more personal note, I am a woman of strong faith who sees God's beautiful artistry in all things. I am married to the love of my life and am the proud mother of four extraordinary grown children. My creative spirit was awakened later in life, so I've had a lot of catching up to do! Most days, you will find me in my studio doing what I love to do. I'm a self-taught artist and have been painting actively for the last five years.
